San Diego Film Equipment is your one stop shop for lighting, grip, camera and production supply rentals. In 2010, Trevor Elliott and Josh Oliver joined forces to create San Diego Film Equipment. The goal: To support San Diego's growing film/video, television, and commercial production industries by providing the tools to get the job done. Together these two entertainment industry veterans bring 35+ years of lighting, shooting, and producing experience. No job is too big; no job is too small.

 

San Diego Film Equipment rents the largest local inventory of Arri, Astera, Litepanels, Quasar, Kino Flo, K5600, Chimera, American Grip, and lighting equipment. We also carry cinema cameras from Sony, Arri, and Red; along with lenses by Canon, Zeiss, Cooke, and many more.

 

We provide rental equipment to the largest local productions; but we are always happy to help individuals, small production companies, and students to obtain professional tools at a competitive price. On top of renting out our cine equipment, we stand ready to provide local production crew resources as well.

 

We carry many popular items requested by virtually all productions: SmallHD monitors, DSLR Rigs, filters, sliders, dollies, portable generators, makeup stations, light kits and hood mounts.
