Rental Process

Estimates/Quotes:

There are two easy ways to generate an estimate for your order:

1. Use our online estimate generator. We will send back an official quote and give you a call to finalize the order.
2. Send us an email with your company info, rental pick-up and return dates, and gear list with quantities. We'll send you an estimate back!

Rental Agreement:

A standard rental agreement is attached to every official quote we send out. When you are ready to finalize and lock in your order, please fill out and sign the attached rental agreement. We also require a signature on the front page of the quote.

Insurance Requirements:

San Diego Film Equipment requires an insurance policy certificate on file that covers rented photography equipment. It must also list San Diego Film Equipment as BOTH additionally insured and loss payee. An example certificate is downloadable below. Please note, we only require the automobile liability policy when renting out our grip trucks.

Deliveries:

We are happy and willing to make both deliveries and pickups of rented gear at an additional cost. The cost for this is determined by the distance from the rental house. Feel free to give us an address and we can add it to the quote.
