Grid for Astra 1x1 Rental in San Diego

This grid is an accessory for the Litepanels Astra 1x1 LED panel that narrows and directs its soft output. It helps keep light off walls, the floor, and the camera while giving the lighting team more controlled placement for interviews, tabletop work, video village, and practical interior setups.

Recommended Uses

Use it with the separately listed Litepanels Astra Bi-Color when you need more directional control. For a different approach to shaping the fixture, consider the Chimera 1x1 Softbox or DOP Choice 1x1 Softbox.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a grid do on an Astra 1x1?

It directs the panel's light forward and helps reduce spill to the sides.

Is the Astra 1x1 light included?

No. This listing is for the grid accessory; rent the Astra 1x1 separately.

When should I use a grid instead of a softbox?

Use a grid when you want to limit spill and keep the panel's light more controlled. Use a softbox when a larger, softer source is the goal.
