Rent a SmallRig Universal Phone Cage for smartphones 63–86 mm wide. Its spring clamp, 1/4-inch-20 mounting points, and two cold shoes support a planned mobile video rig. Check phone fit and accessory clearance before pickup.
Build a more controlled smartphone filming setup with this SmallRig cage. The catalog specifies a 63–86 mm phone width range, a spring-loaded clamp with protective rubber pads, multiple 1/4-inch-20 threaded holes, and two cold shoe mounts for compatible accessories. The cage can help mount a microphone, light, handle, or tripod connection as appropriate to the production.
For mobile audio, see the Rode VideoMic Me-L. Its Lightning connector and microphone placement must fit the specific phone and cage arrangement. Browse other camera accessories for the rest of the rig.
Will my phone fit? Measure its width with any case installed and confirm it falls within 63–86 mm; also check the position of buttons and ports.
Are lights or microphones included? The cage listing does not identify them as included. Select accessories separately.
