Zeppelin wind-protection rental for boom-mounted shotgun microphones on dialogue, interview, documentary, and location-sound shoots.
A zeppelin is a tubular windscreen and suspension system used around a boom-mounted shotgun microphone to reduce wind noise while recording dialogue outdoors or in moving air. It is a practical sound-support rental for film, television, commercial, documentary, and interview production.
Use a zeppelin for exterior dialogue, walk-and-talk scenes, coastal locations, vehicle work, and any boom-microphone setup exposed to wind. Build a complete boom package with the separately listed Boom Pole, Rode NTG-5 Shotgun Mic, and 50 Foot XLR Cable.
It helps reduce wind noise by surrounding the microphone with a windscreen and suspension system.
No. The boom pole is listed separately so you can configure the sound package your production needs.
Fit depends on the microphone model and dimensions. Contact San Diego Film Equipment before pickup to confirm compatibility with your microphone.
